LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. –
The 633d Air Base Wing will conduct a formal retreat Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Memorial Park at Langley Air Force Base on the occasion of the Air Force's 63rd birthday. Langley's First Sergeants are organizing the event and have already coordinated with units on personnel for the formation. Designated seating will be made available for guests, and guests are encouraged to attend.
Formation participants are to report to the park at 3:30 p.m. Acceptable uniform combinations include the Airman battle uniform, battle dress uniform, flight suits or civilian equivalent. Parking will be available at the hospital at the corner of Cooks Circle and Wright Ave. Bus pick-up will be available at Buildings 330 and 1302/23. Distinguished visitor parking will be available at Memorial Park.
Please note that traffic in the area will be restricted from approximately 3:55 p.m. through the duration of the ceremony. Motorists are advised to plan ahead.
