100 percent ID check for JBLE begins Oct. 1

Beginning Oct. 1, Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), which includes both Langley Air Force Base and Fort Eustis areas, will require drivers and all adult passengers to present identification to the entry controllers prior to gaining access to the base. At least one member in the vehicle must have an approved JBLE identification card such as a Common Access Card (CAC), military dependent ID, retired military ID or pass issued by a JBLE Security Forces Squadron. All other adults in the vehicle are required to show an approved state or government identification card. DoD vehicle decals will continue to be available, but not required for entry to any area of JBLE.
