FORT EUSTIS, Va. –
Soldiers assigned to the 510th Human Resource Company, Special Troops Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade walked into Fort Eustis' Anderson Field House Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., returning home after serving 12 months in Southwest Asia in support of Operation New Dawn and Operation Enduring Freedom.
"This group of 30 Soldiers played a vital part in accurate personnel accountability with entering, transiting or exiting Soldiers in and out of the theater of operation," said Maj. Brian Lust, the 510th HRC rear detachment commander. They were recognized numerous times for their dedication to this 'no fail' mission and the professionalism within the human resources field."
Upon the command, "dismissed," family, friends and fellow Soldiers rushed toward the formation with open arms welcoming home the 'Regulators' upon the completion of a job well done.
The 7th Sust. Bde. provides logistical support anywhere, at any time, in any environment. Elements of the brigade's six battalions and their companies are deployed at any given time supporting a number of global missions to include Southwest Asia, U.S. Army South, Iraq and Afghanistan.
