Donald Kirkland, 633d Air Base Wing commander, joins Raymond Hopkins, Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision-impaired commissioner, Heston Highland, Langley Office Supply and Individual Equipment Element Store manager, Steve Heinecke, vice president for product and online marketing for the National Industries for the Blind, and Jim Meehan, General Manager of the Virginia Industries for the Blind, in cutting the ribbon during the grand reopening of the VIB Office Supply Store at Langley Air Force Base, Va., April 26. The store reopened after four months of renovations. VIB provides training and employment opportunities for employees who are blind or vision-impaired, and began its partnership with Langley AFB in 2000 when it assumed operation of the Individual Equipment Element and, shortly after, the office supply store.
