LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. –
USAF Hospital Langley will relocate emergency room and related services to the second floor of the east wing from May 27 to July 2 due to ongoing construction projects.
To ensure the safety of patients and staff, contractors will conduct business during periods of decreased traffic, beginning at 2 a.m. Fridays and continuing through 2 a.m. Sundays.
Emergency room patients are asked to observe signs posted directing them available parking on the bayside of the hospital nearest the outpatient clinic.
"We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our Langley community during this important construction phase," said Col. (Dr.) Eric Stone, 633d Medical Group commander. "Non-emergent patients may experience extended wait times during the relocation; however, every patient will receive the same quality care they have come to expect from our emergency room experts."
