LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. –
The 1st Maintenance Squadron bid farewell to Maj. Elizabeth Boehm as she relinquished command of the squadron to Maj. Dominick Martin in a ceremony June 10.
Col. Matthew L. Venzke, 1st Maintenance Group commander, officiated the ceremony.
"To the men and women of the 1st Maintenance Squadron, I'm excited to be joining your team," said Major Martin. "I believe we're part of something special here, this aircraft, this squadron, this base."
Major Martin graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1997, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in American History. Prior to coming to Langley, he was the U.S. Air Force Cadet Squadron Ten commander and has served in various assignments that include special actions officer, wholesale logistics, and flight line maintenance.
Major Boehm is leaving Langley for her next assignment at the Pentagon.
