World War II veteran recognized by MCAHC
U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. J. Antez Gilbert, McDonald Army Health Center command sergeant major, presents a challenge coin to retired Master Sgt. Lee R. Griffin, a World War II veteran, on his 100th birthday celebration at Fort Eustis, Va., Feb. 22, 2013. Col. Michael E. Hershman, MCAHC commander, invited Griffin to the health center to celebrate the occasion and share his life's experiences with MCAHC personnel.
