Oh, deer: JBLE environmental ensures wildlife aids mission

The 733rd Civil Engineer Division environmental element at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., ensures mission success by managing natural resources to provide adequate land on which U.S. Army Soldier’s train. The deer population is an example of wildlife managed on JBLE. Overpopulation risks depletion of the understory of the forest, which could impact Soldiers land navigation training or other mission-related activities. Hurricane season: Don't be scared, be prepared
