Col Justin L. Long

Col Justin L. Long is the commander of the 633d Mission Support Group, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The 2,700 personnel in his six squadrons provide war and peacetime mission support and quality of life for the 633d Air Base Wing, 1st Fighter Wing, Headquarters Air Combat Command, and over 40 other mission partners. He is responsible for providing deployment operations, facility and infrastructure operations and maintenance, security and emergency response, communications and information services, personnel support, services, contracting, and housing for an installation community hosting over 75,000 active duty, civilian, and retired personnel. Col Long entered the Air Force in 2003 as a distinguished graduate of Clemson University’s Air Force ROTC program. He has served in a variety of manpower, personnel, and services positions at the base, field operating agency, Air Staff, and Joint levels; and has commanded at the squadron level.
