COMMAND SGT. MAJ. DRURY M. PUCKETT III

U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major Drury M. Puckett III is a native of Columbia, Tennessee and entered the U.S. Army on the 26th of March 1991.  He attended Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and AIT at Ft. Eustis, Virginia.  CSM Puckett graduated AIT as an AH-64A Apache Helicopter mechanic 67R10. 

EDUCATION
CSM Puckett's military schooling includes Modern Army Combatives Levels I and II, the NBC Defense course, Aviation Safety NCO course, NTC Observer Controller Course, Primary Leadership Development Course (Commandant's List), Advanced Leaders Course (Honor Graduate) and the Senior Leaders Course (Honor Graduate and William T. Butt's Leadership Award Winner.)  He is a graduate of Class 60 of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss Texas.

CSM Puckett holds a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies degree with concentrations in Business and Management from the University of Texas, El Paso and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.  He is currently enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business MBA program at Baylor University.

ASSIGNMENTS
CSM Puckett's initial duty assignment was with C Troop, 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment in Illesheim, Germany.  Subsequent assignments include Company Observer/Controller Eagle Team at the National Training Center Ft. Irwin, CA; Command Sergeant Major of the 4th Battalion, 2d Aviation Regiment, Camp Humphreys, Korea; Department Sergeant Major for the Department of Attack Helicopter Training at the Aviation Logistics School, Ft. Eustis, VA; Command Sergeant Major 3-159 ARB, Illesheim, Germany, Command Sergeant Major 2-227 GSAB at Fort Hood, Texas. CSM Puckett is currently serving as the Commandant of the USAACE NCO Academy-Fort Eustis, Virginia.

MAJOR AWARDS AND DECORATIONS 
CSM Puckett's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (6OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (5OLC), the Army Superior Unit Award, the Meritorious Unit Award, and the Master Aviation Badge.  He has also received the Honorable Order of Saint Michael, the Order of Athapaskan and is a Sergeant Morales Club member.


CSM Puckett is married to Janice Gelicame Puckett and has four children, daughter Stephanie (20) son Tristan-Lukas (18) and twin sons Justin Christian and Jaden Doran (8).
