Col. Naomi Y. Henigin

Colonel Naomi Y. Henigin is the commander of the 633d Mission Support Group, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The 2,700 personnel in her six squadrons provide war- and peacetime mission support and quality of life for the 633d Air Base Wing, 1st Fighter Wing, Headquarters Air Combat Command, and over 30 other mission partners. She is responsible for providing deployment operations, facility and infrastructure operations and maintenance, security and emergency response, communications and information services, personnel support, services, contracting, and housing for an installation community hosting over 75,000 active duty, civilian, and retired personnel.

Colonel Henigin earned her commission from the United States Air Force Academy in 2003 and throughout her career has served in a variety of positions at the Squadron Level, Mission Support Group, Direct Reporting Unit, Headquarters, Joint, and in direct support of combat operations. Prior to her current position, she was the Senior Military Assistant, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, the Pentagon, Washington D.C. In this capacity she supported the supervision of manpower, military and civilian personnel, Reserve component affairs and readiness support for the 685,000 Total Force members of the Department of the Air Force. Colonel Henigin is married with two sons.
