Technical Sergeant Eric Talman is the United States Air Force’s F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team Chief, based at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
As the demonstration team chief, he is responsible for representing Air Combat Command, the United States Air Force, the Virginia Air National Guard and the Department of Defense at more than 20 air shows annually. He helps lead the 12-member enlisted F-22 Demonstration Team and helps oversee all maintenance actions performed on the Raptor. By doing so, he ensures the demonstration pilot is equipped with a safe, reliable, and effective aircraft to execute aerial maneuvers for more than 10 million spectators around the world each year.
Technical Sergeant Talman is from Richmond, VA and graduated from J.R. Tucker High School in 2010.
On May 22, 2012 he enlisted in the Virginia Air National Guard. He has worked on the F-22 for 11 years and deployed three times with the Raptor. He was also selected as a member of Task Force Raptor II in 2018 that maintained and launched 18 aircraft to their new respective bases. In his
spare time, he enjoys being with his two sons, playing hockey, and watching football.
