LTC Brandon Hill

Lieutenant Colonel Brandon Hill is a native of Indianapolis, IN.  He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant as an Ordnance Officer in 2002, following graduation from The Officer Candidate School (OCS), Fort Benning, GA. Upon completion of the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, he was assigned as a Support Platoon Leader, 172nd Brigade Support Battalion, Forward Maintenance Company at Fort Wainwright, AK; Battalion S4 and Battalion Motor Officer, 203rd Personnel Services Battalion, Fort Wainwright, AK.

In 2006, Lieutenant Colonel Hill was assigned as the Maintenance Advisor to the 5th Motorized Transportation Regiment (Iraqi), Balad Ruz, Diyala Province, Iraq.  In 2007, he then served as the Battalion S4, 4th Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson, CO.  He assumed command of the Forward Support Company, 4th Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson, CO, deploying the company to both Iraq and Afghanistan (2008).

In 2010, he served as the lead Forward Support Company Observer/Controller for the Scorpion Team and the Brigade Support Battalion Support Operations Officer Assistant Observer/Controller for the Goldminer Team, Fort Irwin, CA.  Following completion of the Theater Logistics Studies Program and Intermediate Level Education (2013), he was assigned to the 49th Transportation Battalion (MCB) as the Battalion S3, Fort Hood, TX, and deployed to Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Iraq.  Upon return from deployment he was assigned as the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade S3 (2015). 

In 2016, Lieutenant Colonel Hill was assigned as a Unit Integrator and Branch Chief, Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island, IL.  His follow-on assignment was to United States Forces Korea (USFK), J4 as the Multi-National Logistics Officer; Executive Officer to the Combined Forces C4/United States Forces Korea J4/United Nations Command U4 Director; USFK J4 Joint Sustainment Division Plans Officer.

Lieutenant Colonel Hill holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Education, Wayland Baptist University (2005), and a Master’s of Science in Logistics Management, Florida Institute of Technology (2013).

His major awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal, and the Air Assault Badge.

He’s married to Lindsay of Gary, IN.  They have four children:  Chanelle (21); Brandon, Jr (19); Vivian (15); Brandilyn (8).
