Tour Requests

Thank you for your interest in visiting Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The JBLE tours program gives our incredible Soldiers and Airmen a chance to tell a portion of the Army and Air Force story to you and highlight their mission, traditions and heritage.

Your base tour will be tailored to coincide with the interests of different age groups and professions the group would like to see. Requests are granted on a first come, first served basis.


JBLE-LANGLEY

Policy:
  • Tours will not be approved or coordinated until a completed tour request form is received and a date has been approved by Public Affairs.
  • Tour groups must be at least 20 individuals and no more than 40.
  • Tours are limited to one per week, on either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Weekend tours are not available.

Meal options:

  • Only ROTC, JROTC or military-affiliated groups can use the dining facility and requires a week's notice. 
  • Meals can be purchased at one of the on-base vendors (Burger King, Starbucks, Panda Express, Arby's, Popeye's, Qdoba or Subway).
  • The Bistro at Riverview Event Center (open Tue-Fri, 1100-1300).

JOINT-BASE LANGLEY EUSTIS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL CONFIRMED TOURS AT ANY TIME DUE TO MISSION REQUIREMENTS. 

How to Request a base tour: 
  • Public Affairs must receive a complete tour request form no earlier than 90 days and no later than 30 days prior to the requested tour date.
  • Tours will not be approved/coordinated until a completed tour request form is received.
  • If Public Affairs hasn't confirmed receiving your request within a week of submission, please follow up by phone, (757) 764-5701 or by email, 633abw.paedit@us.af.mil. 
  • Sending/receiving a request form does not confirm your tour date.
  • ROTC and JROTC in uniform are expected to conform to the Air Force dress and appearance standards including haircuts and hair styles.

A list of all individuals (to include bus drivers and chaperones) attending the tour must be submitted no later than 15 days prior to the tour or the tour will be cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

JBLE-EUSTIS

Policy:
  • Tours will not be approved or coordinated until a completed tour request form is received and a date has been approved by Public Affairs.
  • Tour groups with minors such as JROTC must have one adult chaperon per every 10 students/cadets.
  • Tours are available Tuesday - Friday.

Meal options:

  • Only ROTC, JROTC or military-affiliated groups can use the dining facility.
  • A two-week notice is required, and meals can be paid for as a group or individually. With group payment a receipt for the group can be furnished by DFAC.
  • Meals can also be purchased at on-base restaurants (Burger King, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Popeye’s, QDoba or Subway). The Fort Eustis Club, Pines Golf Course and King Pin Bowling Center are also open for lunch.

Requesting a Base Tour:

  • Public Affairs must receive a completed tour request form no earlier than 90 days and no later than 56 days prior to the requested tour date.
  • Tours will not be coordinated or approved until a completed tour request form is received.
  • If Public Affairs has not confirmed receipt of your request within a week of submission, please follow up by phone at (757) 878-4920 or by email at 633abw.pa.eustis@us.af.mil. Sending/receiving a request form does not confirm your tour date.
  • Army ROTC and JROTC cadets in uniform are expected to conform to the Army’s dress and appearance standards including haircuts and hair styles.
  • An Entry Authorization List is required for all tour participants ages 18 and older who do not possess a Department of Defense ID card. A list of all individuals (to include bus drivers and chaperones) participating in the tour must be submitted no later than 35 days prior or the tour will be cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
  • Any requests for Confidence Course or Leadership Reaction Course must be made more than 8 weeks in advance to allow preparation for safety, medical support, and any manpower/support personnel.

Speaker Requests

The Army and Air Force for various community events to create dialogue with local organizations and give them an insight into the Army and Air Force's role, mission, overall capabilities and the Soldiers and Airmen who make up the branches in your local community. 


JBLE-LANGLEY


Policy:

  • Any organization, group or individual can request an Air Force speaker. This includes community groups, business organizations, industry associations, as well as schools of all levels.
  • We are restricted from participating in fundraising events and political activities.
  • If the speaker must cancel, the organization is responsible for contacting Langley Public Affairs to re-submit a request.


Requesting a speaker for an event:

  • Public Affairs must receive a complete speaker request form at least two to four weeks prior to the requested event.
  • Once we provide a speaker, all outstanding arrangements must be made between the organization and the guest speaker.
  • Speaker requests will not be approved/coordinated until a completed speaker request form is received. 
  • If Public Affairs hasn't confirmed receiving your request within a week of submission, please follow up by phone, (757) 764-5701, or by email, 633abw.paedit@us.af.mil.
  • Sending/receiving a request does not confirm a speaker to your event.

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL A SCHEDULED SPEAKER AT ANY TIME DUE TO MISSION REQUIREMENTS.


JBLE-EUSTIS

Policy:

  • Any organization, group or individual can request an Army speaker. This includes community groups, business organizations, industry associations, as well as schools of all levels.
  • The Army is restricted from participating in fundraising events and political activities.
  • Once a speaker is provided, all arrangements must be coordinated between the requesting organization and the guest speaker.
  • If the speaker must cancel, the requesting organization is responsible for contacting 633d Air Base Wing Public Affairs (Fort Eustis office) at (757) 878-4920 to re-submit the request.

Requesting a speaker for an event:

  • Public Affairs must receive a completed speaker request form at least 30 days prior to the requested event.
  • Requests for speakers will not be coordinated or approved until a completed speaker request form is received.
  • If Public Affairs has not confirmed receiving your request within a week of submission, please follow up by phone at (757) 878-4920 or by email at 633abw.pa.eustis@us.af.mil. Sending/receiving a request does not confirm a speaker for your event.
