JBLE physician awarded Federal Health Care Executive Award for Excellence

The American Hospital Association presented U.S. Air Force Col. Jennifer Brooks, 633rd Medical Operations Squadron family health flight commander, with the Federal Health Care Executive Award for Excellence Apr. 9, 2020. The AHA sponsors two awards in recognition of federal health care executives who have had a significant and lasting impact on military and/or public health care delivery.

Physical Therapy Month: Celebrating military roots, looking to the future

The 633rd Medical Operations Squadron Physical Therapy Clinic is currently celebrating Physical Therapy Month. The clinic provides a wide range of services to active duty service members in the Joint Base Langley-Eustis area, hosting over 17,000 patient visits per year. The therapists evaluate and treat most musculoskeletal issues including knee, back, and neck pain, neurological symptoms such as sciatica and radiculopathy, as well as post-operative rehabilitation.
