Vietnam War vet receives Bronze Star for saving comrades

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. - U.S. Army Brig. Gen. James M. Smith, U.S. Army Chief of Transportation, pins the Bronze Star medal on Ronald Mallory, a Vietnam War Veteran, at the U.S. Army Transportation Museum on Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Mar. 4, 2020. Mallory served as a gun truck driver in the Vietnam War, and encountered an enemy ambush at An Khe Pass in Binh Dinh province of the former Republic of Vietnam. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
