Joint Base Langley-Eustis observed Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month with various activities throughout Langley Air Force Base and Fort Eustis April 12.

The Pure Praxis Sexual Assault Theater Group performed at Fort Eustis, showcasing aspects of victim blaming, shaming and victim isolation which are factors that can lead to poor mental health in survivors of sexual assault.

At Langley AFB, the 363rd ISRW in collaboration with Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victim Advocates dedicated the day to Complete Airman Fitness, facilitating multiple activities throughout the day. These activities included a 5K run, interactive Q&As, self-defense class and a performance by the Sexual Assault Theater Group.
