Quit smoking: it is never too late

To encourage both Airmen and Soldiers to quit the use of tobacco as a New Year's resolution, the Health and Wellness Center at Langley Air Force Base,Va., teamed up with the American Lung Association to create a program where participants may attend a one-hour seminar on smoking cessation. To promote continuing the healthy behavior they have learned, participants then call the ALA each week for 12 weeks to report progress, which is then e-mailed to the HAWC. The shoreline stabilization includes a 10 kilometer rip rap sea wall that brings the base’s shore 5.4 feet above sea level. Before long travel, check tire pressure in all tires, including spare tires, and fill them to the recommended level on the vehicle’s tire information placard, certification label, or in the owner’s manual.
