The McDonald Army Health Center takes pride in sustaining readiness through the provision of preventative, timely and accessible patient-centered care at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. “We have run over 17 thousand [COVID] tests in house,” said U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Amber Huffman, MCAHC laboratory noncommissioned officer in charge. “In a facility of this size, it’s kind of amazing. We’re not a full hospital; we don’t even have an emergency room or an urgent care.”

Meet the commander: Col. Eric Mack, 363d ISR Wing

Colonel Eric Mack took over as the 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Wing commander back in June 2021, but this isn’t the first time he has been with the wing. Plunging into the deep end

The 149th SOC, a unit of the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary), conducted drown-proofing training with assistance from the 86th Engineer Dive Detachment instructors. The training event intended to help Soldiers build confidence when having to jump into the water during emergencies.
