In Mitchell Trophy Air Race return; 94th Fighter Squadron claims victory

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. – Col. Brandon Tellez, 1st Fighter Wing commander prepares to present the John L. Mitchell Trophy to Lt. Col. Devil 94th Fighter Squadron commander, as he celebrates after being the first competitor to complete the Mitchell Trophy Air Race  at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia,  Mar. 7, 2025.  Devil and the other competitors were required to land, park, refuel and launch their own aircraft. In addition to this the competitors were also required to run 1.6 miles to the Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Museum to sign a historical logbook. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
