JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. –
U.S. Army Soldiers run in formation during the annual U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots run to celebrate the success of the program at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., Dec. 7, 2017.
The program works with communities to collect new, unwrapped toys and distributes them as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children.
Each year, the installation participates in the Toys for Tots program from October to November, ending program with a celebratory run. Units from JBLE joined in a friendly competition to be the unit that donated the most toys to the cause, collecting more than 3,700 toys including bicycles, stuffed animals and other toys for children.
