BX welcomes spring with garden center opening

Langley’s Logistic Support Center goes green

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Colonel Michael Melendrez, 735th Supply Chain Management Group commander, Brig. Gen. Mark A. Barrett, 1st Fighter Wing commander and Lt. Col Jeffrey Ullmann, 1st Civil Engineer Squadron commander, attended the ceremonial opening of the Langley’s Logistic Support Center March 31. The center is one of the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certified facilities on Langley. AFAF campaign going on now till April 19

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. – Brig. Gen. Mark A. Barrett, 1st Fighter Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Slater, 1st FW command chief, contribute to the Air Force Assistance Fund here March 30. The AFAF campaign has benefited active duty, Reserve, Guard, retired Air Force personnel, surviving spouses and families with contributions for 36 years. Bethel Fishing Pier is open
