Kitty Saks, a Holocaust survivor who also lost 27 family members, was placed into a Catholic convent, at age nine, under an assumed name, Rosette Nizolle, for her safety and became a hidden child of the Holocaust. This year’s theme for the Holocaust Days of Remembrance commemoration is “Learning from the Holocaust: The Strength of the Human Spirit” and will be held April 23 through April 30, 2017.
