Meet the 363 ISRW Command Chief – Chief Master Sgt. Jason Funkhauser

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — Chief Master Sgt. Jason Funkhauser is the Command Chief of the 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (ISRW). Prior to assuming his current position in July of 2020, he was the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 548th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group (ISRG) at Beale Air Force Base, Calif.

363d ISR Wing welcomes Colonel Mack and his family

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — U.S. Air Force Colonel Melissa Stone relinquished command of the 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing to U.S. Air Force Colonel Eric Mack, during a change of command ceremony, June 25, 2021 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.

The training shop at Distributed Ground Station-One (DGS-1), 497th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group, took hold of this momentum and developed a one-stop training tool that links DGS-1 Airmen, working 24/7 ISR operations, with instant access to accredited training, tools, and resources across the Intelligence Community (IC).

497th ISRG hits refresh on training site

The Air Force intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance community is embracing evolved training practices to equip analysts with tools that enhance professional skill, and rapidly help share information and expertise.

U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Joseph Montgomery, command chief, U.S. Air Forces Central Command, visited Airmen of the 497th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Jan. 16. During his visit, Montgomery experienced first-hand the processing, exploitation and dissemination capabilities the 497th ISRG (Distributed Ground Station-1) Airmen provide to the fight across the AFCENT area of responsibility.
