Bateman's Library's (NAHM) Story Time with Kids

Assistant Secretary of the Army visits JBLE

The Honorable Alex A. Beehler, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy and Environment, meets with leadership at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Oct. 3, 2019. Beehler visited with JBLE’s senior leadership to discuss joint base operations, the Center for Army Analysis’ findings and recommendations, as well as the way forward to better serve the installation community’s needs.

The Deployed Family Fall Fest was held at the Bethel Manor Youth Center in Hampton, Virginia, Sept. 28, 2019. The event brought together families whose loved one has been recently or is currently deployed for fun activities, games, food and more.

Operation Warmheart: A time to give

The First Sergeant Council is hosting its annual Operation Warmheart Thanksgiving basket drive at Langley Air Force Base, Va., beginning Nov. 7 through Nov. 20, 2016. This year, they hope to gather enough food and money to deliver more than 500 Thanksgiving baskets. Operation Warmheart, a nonprofit organization, was established by the First Sergeants Council to manage, receive and distribute charitable funds to JBLE service members and families who are in need of assistance. Each year, the Thanksgiving basket drive is the largest direct effort of OWH.
