Seasonal Storage: parking RVs and Boats for the winter

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — Now that it is officially fall, many outdoor enthusiasts are beginning to look for a spot to park their recreational vehicle (RV), camper or boat until the next camping and boating season. The 633rd Security Forces Squadron has additional safety concerns presented by abandoned vehicles on the installation.

FSS offers winter activities

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — Winter has arrived to Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, and some service members and their families may be looking for ways to spend their down time. As a way to help the service members and their families, the 633rd Force Support Squadron’s Outdoor Recreation is hosting ski trips and has winter equipment available for rent throughout the season. “We’re hoping to go to Snowshoe, West Virginia on a three-day weekend. We are also forecasting [a trip] for January and February,” said Anna Hall, 633rd FSS Outdoor Recreation recreational specialist. “[The January trip] is primarily for our Airmen, but the other is for the Airmen and their families. We want to get everyone involved.”
