NCO triumphs over cancer, inspirers others with resilience

Born to parents from El Salvador, Tech. Sgt. Cindy Mascrier, 441st Vehicle Support Chain Operations Squadron program manager, dedicated most of her childhood to helping her family, displaying service before self at an early age. Growing up in a low-income household, Mascrier did not think she could afford a higher education, which led her to join the Air Force.

ASK for aid with the JBLE Airmen Starter Kit

Moving off base for the first time can be stressful. Making a budget, finding a roommate, and viewing potential homes, while trying to balance work can quickly overload a person. Recognizing these factors, the 633d Civil Engineering Squadron airmen dorm leaders developed the Airman Starter Kit program to alleviate stress and lessen expenses by providing Airmen with free furniture kits.

The Regimental Memorial Chapel staff served breakfast during the Thanksgiving Drive-Thru event at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Nov. 18, 2021. During the event the chapel team greeted with attendees and provided breakfast to spread holiday cheer to the base populace.

Be a part of the safety initiative; Report it ASAP!

To keep up with today’s pace of technological evolution, a new platform was created for members of the JBLE community to report hazards and high-risk practices that occur on the installation. The Airman Safety Action Program, or ASAP, is an application that can be accessed through any computer or phone browser via https://asap.safety.af.mil or by using “Airman Safety App,” which can be downloaded from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
