JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. - U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Matthew Evers, 71st Fighter Squadron director of operations, smiles after touching down one of the first Formal Training Unit F-22 Raptors at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Mar. 29, 2023. Working together, the 71st FS and 71st Fighter Generation Squadron will host the Formal Training Unit and incoming F-22 Raptor Fleet, increasing mission lethality and Airmen readiness.
