JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Ak. - A U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor from Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, sits on the flight line during Red Flag Alaska, 21-3 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 20, 2021. To improve tactical capabilities for air-to-air combat, the 18th Aggressor Squadron, based at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, provided the adversary air threat which aims to simulate possible tactics that may be used by threats our pilots may encounter during combat.
