The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle started replacing the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle in 2019 at the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division. The TAK-4i intelligent independent suspension system and the complete plug and play C4ISR capability are designed to better keep Soldiers safe while outside the wire on missions.
