For the Airmen of Joint Base Langley-Eustis the weeks ran together as both bases began preparing to secure infrastructure from a different kind of enemy: Mother Nature.

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. - U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Noah Medor, 633rd Security Forces Squadron military working dog handler, puts his dog Ali, 633rd SFS MWD into an evacuation trailer September 5, 2019 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The military working dogs were evacuated to Joint Base Andrews, Maryland in preparation for Hurricane Dorian.
