Joint Base Langley-Eustis Evaluates Pandemic Exercise
LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va -- Maj. Greg Garrison, 633d Aerospace Medical squadron Bio-Environmental Engineering flight commander, receives his dosage of the anti-viral Tamiflu, during the Public Disease Outbreak Exercise Oct. 28. This second annual Major Accident Response Exercise involving a disease outbreak is designed to evaluate the distribution of the prophylactic influenza to 5,000 personnel in 48 hours in case of a pandemic outbreak on base.
