Virginia Governor to Present National Apprenticeship Proclamation to Joint Base Langley-Eustis

The Governor of Virginia, Abigail Spanberger, will provide opening remarks and formally present the National Apprenticeship Proclamation to Joint Base Langley-Eustis on Wednesday, April 29, at the Fort Eustis Club to kick off the Virginia Veteran Registered Apprenticeship Muster.

The Apprenticeship Muster is an in-person hiring event, hosted by the Fort Eustis Transition Assistance Program, designed to connect transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses directly with employers offering "earn-while-you-learn" skilled career opportunities.

Governor Spanberger will open the event at 10 a.m. with formal remarks, followed by the presentation of the Apprenticeship Proclamation to the JBLE Installation Commander U.S. Air Force Col Stephen Anderson. This presentation celebrates the ongoing partnership between the Commonwealth of Virginia and the military community in fostering skill development, technical readiness, and career transitions.

Media interested in attending the presentation must contact the 633rd Air Base Wing Public Affairs Office by 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at 757-878-4920 or email 633ABW.PA.Media@us.af.mil
