JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. –
There is an Active Shooter Exercise scheduled for Langley AFB, Thursday, Mar. 19; the exercise starting time is not announced. Residents and visitors may notice an increase in emergency response personnel and vehicles on Langley AFB.
Langley AFB entry control points and customer service areas will be impacted during the duration of the exercise. Some residents may hear loud messages broadcasted over the installation’s “Giant Voice” notification system.
There have been no indications of a changed threat environment.
