JOINT BASE LANGLE-EUSTIS, Va. – –
The United Services Automobile Association hosted a ‘Salute
to Service’ event August 7, 2018, during the Washington Redskins Training Camp
at Bon Secours Training Center in Richmond, Virginia.
Service members were split into five-person teams and
competed in five events, including team ball catching, the gauntlet, 40-yard
dash, L-drill and the vertical leap.
Afterwards, service members had free lunch and
refreshments and were able to view the Redskins practice. When the practice was
over, players posed for selfies and signed shirts, hats, footballs and service
members’ combat boots.
