CMSgt Richelle D. Baker

CMSgt Richelle D. Baker is the Command Chief, 633d Air Base Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. As the Joint Base Command Chief, she is the primary advisor to the Commander for all matters pertaining to training, operations, maintenance, and force development of more than 18,000 Air Force and Army personnel and providing installation support to more than 120,000 military, civilians, retirees, and family members. The wing’s two Mission Support Groups and Medical Group ensure mission sustainment for a multitude of units to include Headquarters Air Combat Command, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, four operational wings, eight Army brigades, and 20 major associate units.  

Chief Baker entered the Air Force in January 1998 and graduated from the Aerospace Medical Service Apprentice course in August 1998. Throughout her 28 years of service, she has filled a myriad of leadership positions including First Sergeant, Inspector General, Directorate and Squadron Superintendent, and Group Senior Enlisted Leader. Chief Baker has also deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and Joint Task Force Horn of Africa. Prior to assuming her current position, she served as the Wing Senior Enlisted Advisor for the 6th Air Refueling Wing, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
