COLONEL GREGORY S. BEAULIEU

Colonel Gregory S. Beaulieu is the Commander, 633d Air Base Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. As the Joint Base Commander, he commands three groups, providing installation support to more than 18,000 Air Force and Army personnel, including Headquarters Air Combat Command, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, four operational wings, eight brigades, and more than 20 major associate units. Col. Beaulieu is also responsible for providing mission-ready expeditionary Airmen to combatant commanders in support of joint and combined operations worldwide.

 

Col. Beaulieu entered the Air Force in 1999 as a graduate of Florida State University and holds an undergraduate degree in History and a graduate degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College. He has served in a wide variety of assignments at the base level, major command, joint task force, Combatant Command, Headquarters Air Force, and has operational experience in both Central America and Afghanistan.  During his time in Afghanistan, he served as the liaison officer between the President of Afghanistan and the Commander, Headquarters International Security and Assistance Force and most recently as the Commander, 455th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron, Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. Prior to this assignment, Col Beaulieu was the Commander, 325th Mission Support Group, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.
