2023 Fort Eustis Fall Fest 'Trunk or Treat' Contest & Rules - The 2023 Fort Eustis Fall Fest 'Trunk or Treat' will take place at the 128th Aviation Brigade school house, Friday, Oct. 27, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Anyone with base access is eligible to participate in the 'Trunk or Treat' contest, but must register by Monday, Oct. 23.

Design the Joint Base Langley-Eustis Mascot Contest - We want YOUR design for the new mascot representing all of Joint Base Langley-Eustis!

This contest is open to all JBLE organizations and their dependents. All entries must include the submitter's name, phone number, unit affiliation, a high resolution image of your design, and a brief explanation of your inspiration.

'Trick-or-Treating' Date & Times for JBLE Military Family Housing - The established date and times for 'trick-or-treating' on Joint Base Langley-Eustis family housing is Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6 - 8 p.m.

The above applies for all on-base housing on both Langley AFB and Fort Eustis, as well as the off-base housing at Bethel Manor.

New Eatery at JBLE-Eustis - There is a new restaurant option opening at JBLE-Eustis, which will have a grand opening ceremony! 

- Nov. 6, Hunt Brothers Pizza (inside the Eustis Express at 704 Washington Blvd) will have its ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m.

Anyone with authorized base access is welcome to attend this ceremony!

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Courses at Fort Eustis - Registration for 2023 Fall term ERAU on-site courses are now open!

ERAU is offering four courses for the 2023 Fall term at The Herb Bateman Army Education Center (1500 Madison Ave.). The last day to register using military tuition assistance is Monday, Oct. 9. For all others, the last day to register is Thursday, Oct. 19.

'The War to End All Wars - The Movie' Premiere - The globally-acclaimed Swedish rock band Sabaton, known for their songs about historical events, has created the “History Rocks” project. They have partnered with the animation studio Yarnhub following years of hard work and research to produce an animated, educational movie telling World War I stories featuring music from the group. 

The U.S. Army Transportation Museum (300 Washington Blvd, Fort Eustis) will present three free showings of this film in the museum's theater, with the first showing on Veteran’s Day. The museum will also bring out WWI museum artifacts for the public to view.

The dates and times for the film are:

  • Saturday. Nov. 11 @ 3 p.m. – Premier
  • Thursday, Nov. 16 @ 6:30 p.m. – Evening Showing
  • Saturday, Nov. 18 @ 3 p.m. – Final Showing
