Col Kevin B. Wooton, 67th Network Warfare Wing commander, presents Mr. Willie Ransom, Mrs. Marysue Ransom and Ms. Naquita Marie Bassfield, with a Bronze Star medal awarded posthumously to Maj. Charles Ransom during his memorial service at Langley Air Force Base, Va., May 12, 2011. Major Ransom was assigned to the 83d Network Operations Squadron as a flight commander, and lead a 19-member flight providing squadron planning of a $6.4 million budget to accomplish deployed and in-garrison Air Force Network Operations missions.
