JBLE welcomes MMA ‘legends’

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. -- James Vick, Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight fighter, holds simulated rounds used by a Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter during the Mixed Martial Arts Legends Tour at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., Nov. 30, 2017. As he ventured closer to the most lethal fighter jet on the planet, this fellow flier was faced with his own mortality. This cautionary tale serves as a frightening reminder to always practice situational awareness.

Tonight, Fort Eustis hosted its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring carols performed by the TRADOC Band, local Girl Scouts, and the Woodside High School Select Women’s Ensemble. Santa and Mrs. Claus even paid the post a visit, wishing Happy Holidays to all!
