733rd MSG welcomes new command sergeant major

The 733rd Mission Support Group hosted a change of responsibility ceremony at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., Sept. 27, 2017. 

During the ceremony, U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. James T. Herrington, outgoing 733rd MSG command sergeant major, relinquished responsibility to Command Sgt. Maj. Eric J. Vidal I. 

To honor a longstanding tradition, the outgoing command sergeant major passes the colors to an incoming command sergeant major to symbolizes relinquishing responsibility of the unit. 

Vidal was previously the command sergeant major of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment Support Squadron at Fort Irwin, Calif.
